De lotus is een pure zuiver bloem waarvan de bloembladeren zo glad zijn dat er geen enkel vuil aan hecht. Alles laat los, druppelt er van af zodat de zuiverheid van de bloem gewaarborgd blijft.
Deze bloem groeit in modderige poelen en dat is als een metafoor voor het leven van ons mensen: Wij worden geboren in deze onvolmaakte wereld en kunnen er bovenuit groeien als de lotus die opgroeit en uitstijgt boven de modderpoel en daar openbloeit naar het licht. En daar, binnenin die lotus bevindt zich het zuivere hart, onaangetast en niet te bevuilen.
Zo zit in ons, in ieder mens een juweel verborgen in het hart dat zich in zuiverheid kan openen naar het licht. Het juweel in het hart van de lotus
Na alle maatregelen rondom de Corona crisis kunnen we eindelijk onze reizen weer hervatten. Het eerste half jaar van 2020 was voor ons de modderpoel. We hebben vier geplande reizen moeten cancellen, niet goed voor ons, zeker niet leuk voor de deelnemers. En wij zijn verheugd dat we hierdoor heen gekomen zijn, zonder schade voor alle partijen, maar wel met mooie leermomenten.
Wij zijn er klaar voor om jullie weer te ontvangen op één van onze mooie en leerzame reizen in Slovenië, Kroatië, Bosnië of Montenegro.
The lotus is a pure pure flower whose petals are so smooth that no dirt adheres to them. Everything comes loose, drops off so that the purity of the flower is guaranteed.
This flower grows in muddy puddles and that is like a metaphor for the lives of us humans: We are born into this imperfect world and can grow above it as the lotus grows and rises above the mud puddle and blossoms there to the light. After all the measures surrounding the Corona crisis, we can finally resume our travels. The first half of 2020 was for us the mud pool. We had to cancel four planned trips, not good for us, certainly not fun for the participants. And we are pleased that we have come through this, without damage to all parties, but with great learning opportunities.
